Located in the heart of the Vall d'Uixó, the Caves of San José form a unparalleled natural spectacle. This cave system is home to the Europe's longest navigable underground river, with a length of 3000 metres, where history and geology merge to create a dream landscape.
The route of the visit will be 1 kilometre: 850 metres by boat, accompanied by a professional boat-guide, and 250 metres on foot. Inside, you will see wide galleries, stalactite-covered ceilings and spaces known as ‘the cathedral’ or the ‘bat room’.
We will reveal the origins of the San José caves and their evolution over the years. In addition, you will be able to contemplate impressive views of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, The caves are located in an ancient Iberian settlement just above the entrance to the caves.

Once you arrive at the caves, you will board a boat to travel along the river where a boat-guide will guide you along the way and point out some key points of the natural wonder (this can be in Spanish only).
If you have any questions you can always ask the official guide of Valencia&Go, he will be ready to answer them at the exit of the caves.
